Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Location: Auburn, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Reports To: Team Lead/Sr. Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, teachable Low Voltage Technician to assist in the installation, termination, and certification
of low voltage cabling and related network infrastructure. Including AP devices, cameras and access control. This role
involves working in construction and office space job sites. Technicians will follow established standards for structured
cabling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and certify low voltage cabling for data and voice networks
  • Create and follow cable paths through ceilings, walls, and floors based on direction or blueprint
  • Use proper tools for stripping, crimping, and testing
  • Assist in the setup of network racks, cable support systems, and other hardware
  • Label and document cable runs clearly
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness and follow safety practices
  • Work under the direction of the team lead and Sr. lead complete tasks on time

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in cabling, construction, or technical work preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
  • Familiarity with CAT 5e/CAT 6 cabling and basic network terminology
  • Ability to use hand tools and safely operate ladders/lifts
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take instruction
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with cable testers (e.g., Fluke or similar)
  • Exposure to fiber optics or security/access control systems
  • OSHA 10 certification

Work Environment:

  • Work takes place in a variety of environments including hospitals, office spaces, construction, and/or warehouse areas
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and work on ladders, lifts, or in tight areas when necessary
  • Some travel to job sites may be required
