Forklift Operator

Xpedient Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator II to support our high-volume Houston warehouse. In this role, you will safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets and freight for diverse customers. You'll assist with shipping and receiving, stage and verify orders, and help maintain accurate inventory using RF scanners or warehouse systems. Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment, you'll collaborate closely with operations teams to meet tight client deadlines while upholding high standards of reliability, organization, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, and move pallets and freight
• Support shipping and receiving by staging, scanning, and verifying outbound and inbound loads
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and counts using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Inspect forklifts and material-handling equipment, reporting issues and performing basic upkeep
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and company procedures in a high-volume warehouse environment
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet tight customer deadlines
• Organize and maintain clean, efficient, and clearly labeled storage areas
• Assist with cycle counts, damage checks, and freight quality control
