Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Plant Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The individual will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our manufacturing operations, providing strategic input on financial decisions, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Responsibilities

Oversee the manufacturing accounting processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

Perform monthly and year‑end close procedures, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and senior management to establish financial targets and monitor performance.

Conduct regular financial analysis, identifying trends and variances, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department, implementing new processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Provide financial guidance and support to the manufacturing team, helping them understand the financial implications of their decisions and actions.

Qualifications

Earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, with a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.

Demonstrated experience in performing account reconciliations, preparing annual budgets, and managing year‑end close processes.

Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non‑financial audiences.

Proficient in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.

Maintain a high level of integrity and reliability, with the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
