Senior Accountant

A growing and well-established manufacturing organization in the Auburn, Indiana area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Support cost accounting processes, inventory reporting, and manufacturing variance analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Analyze operational and financial performance, providing recommendations to management
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparation
• Monitor internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to improve financial visibility and decision-making
• Participate in special projects related to business growth, systems enhancements, and process optimization
