This position will be primarily responsible for the daily management of the office and will have administrative oversite of all staff within the practice. This position will ensure that processes are followed, and staff are trained to provide exceptional customer service and are able to complete their job duties.
Duties/Responsibilities- Lead and manage the outpatient team, ensuring staff are well‑trained, supported, and compliant with all mandatory training requirements.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies to build a high‑performing team.
- Responsible for performance reviews, competency reviews, time‑off approvals, disciplinary actions, payroll processes, and career development initiatives.
- Manage all staff within the practice, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported. This includes recruitment and hiring, performance reviews, time off requests, discipline, payroll/mileage, training and competency maintenance, and career development.
- Appropriately schedule and staff clinic ensuring adequate coverage to meet patient needs during identified business hours.
- Manage and resolve patient concerns.
- Communicate key information to the staff within the office to ensure expectations are clear and met.
- Address personnel in matters in a fair, proactive manner.
- Plan, implement and follow‑up on performance improvement activities within the practice.
- Build cohesiveness within the team and the larger organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Occupational Exposure Risk Classification:
The normal work routine involves minimal exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. - The normal work routine has a minimal ergonomic risk for repetitive motion impairment.
- The position may require a minimal amount of physical exertion (bending, lifting, twisting) in the work area.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in a clinic setting. - Certificate or Professional License:
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment.
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage.
- Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks.
