Whatyour day will look like
Under supervision, you will assist with and monitor virtual and in‑person learners, performing a variety of instructional activities; assisting in the conduct of student learning experiences; performing routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel, and other related work as required, including:
- Provide individual and small‑group assistance to reinforce and follow up on learning activities and instructional concepts introduced by teaching staff.
- Support students during practice, study, and enrichment activities in both virtual and classroom settings.
- Assist with grading, data entry, and tracking student participation and completion within Edmentum.
- Provide virtual check‑ins with online students to ensure engagement, attendance, and academic progress.
- Help students navigate digital learning platforms (e.g., Edmentum, Google Classroom) and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Support students in developing time management, organizational, and digital literacy skills necessary for success in hybrid learning environments.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of instructional materials, digital resources, and learning aids for use with individual students or small groups.
- Promote a safe, positive, and orderly learning environment by directing students to appropriate activities and reinforcing expected behaviors through positive strategies and techniques.
- Assist with supervision during testing, group projects, or enrichment activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student attendance, grade, and progress records in accordance with district policies and FERPA regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment that supports student focus and participation.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support instructional and operational needs.
- This position will be 35 hours per week.
- You have worked hard to earn a H.S. Diploma or equivalency.
- You understand student behavior management strategies and techniques.
- You are familiar with routine record management, storage, and retrieval systems and procedures.
- You can demonstrate an understanding, patient, and receptive attitude toward students.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You can build strong, supportive relationships with students by maintaining consistent communication and providing individualized encouragement.
- You can perform routine clerical tasks and operate a variety of educational and office-related machines and equipment.
- You have the ability to learn to utilize a variety of appropriate instructional materials and procedures in the enhancement of a positive educational environment.
- You understand appropriate English usage, punctuation, spelling and grammar, and basic math concepts.
- You can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Job Requirements- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
