Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

Overview

Carlex is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our day shift team.

• Work a 12-hour shift on a rotating schedule (3-2-2-3).
• Carry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot defective equipment to isolate causes and make repairs.
• Follow instructions given by Maintenance Supervisor on shift.
• Complete daily walk-through inspections on equipment in the assigned area.
• Complete run-time and downtime preventive maintenance programs on equipment in assigned areas.
• Track time through work order completion.
• Assist with troubleshooting production process issues as needed.
• Keep all work areas clean and tidy, including tools and tool box.
• Update supervision, staff, and operators, verbally and via written reports, on the status of equipment maintenance issues.
• Promote a team environment.
• Work in a safety-first manner while adhering to all LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Environmental policies.
• Respond to internal and external customers in a timely manner.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in a maintenance or technical field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
