Can you confidently...Read blueprints, setup sheets, job travelers, and work instructions?

Install/adjust tooling, guide bushings, holders, bar feeders, and work holding?

Set offsets, perform tool changes, and make minor program edits?

Prove out a first piece and maintain part conformity through the run?

Track tooling condition, chase chatter, and correct dimensional drift?

Meet production schedules while minimizing downtime and scrap?

Complete in-process inspections, follow ISO/IATF procedures, and keep clean records?

Troubleshoot setup/machining issues and drive small efficiency gains?

Communicate clearly with supervisors, operators, and quality—and mentor others when needed?

Keep your area clean, safe, and compliant; report hazards; know your E‑stops?

Must-haves

High school diploma or GED1+ year of CNC Swiss setup experience (independent setups required)
Blueprint reading; accurate use of precision measuring tools

Understanding of tooling, offsets, and speeds/feeds; ability to perform minor edits

Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice-to-haves

High-volume manufacturing background

Experience with Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar Swiss machines

Mechanical troubleshooting aptitude; multi-machine operation

Familiarity with ISO/IATF environments

This role is independent setups, troubleshooting, and sustaining efficient, high-quality production—plus supporting operators and continuous improvement.

This role is not entry-level, programming-only, or button-pushing production work.

Hands-on Swiss setup experience and comfort working with minimal supervision are essential.
