Maintenance Technician

What your day will look like:
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Plumbing repair and installation skills.
- Plow snow during winter weather months.
- Groundskeeping including but not limited to mowing, trimming, weed eating and weed control.
- Welding, woodworking and basic carpentry work.
- Minor masonry, drywall and painting repair.
- Operating a variety of power grounds equipment, including large gang mowers, tractors, backhoe equipment, and sweepers.
- Performing a variety of specialized functions using various tractor attachments.
- May drive a truck with a trailer attachment in transporting heavy‑duty grounds maintenance equipment from worksite to worksite.
- Servicing grounds maintenance equipment and making minor adjustments and repairs and performing a variety of preventative maintenance functions.
- Digging trenches for new gas lines, water mains, and electrical lines, and back filling the trenches as the lines are laid.
- May move furniture and equipment.
- You have worked hard to earn a H.S. Diploma or equivalency.
- You have the ability to exert 75 to 100 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- You have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps, and can stand for extended periods of time.
- You can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- You are hardworking and willing to learn – on‑the‑job training will be provided!

Job Requirements- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
