Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a dynamic and highly qualified World Language Teacher for grades 9-12. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a fellow foreign language teacher, as well as be student-centered with a strong knowledge of content, including best practices in foreign language instruction, an understanding of standards-based assessment, the ability to use technology in instruction and the willingness to support the mission of the school department.
PerformanceResponsibilities
- Provide opportunities for student involvement in the learning process
- Teach based on the needs of the whole child
- Organize materials for student learning
- Provide appropriate feedback on student progress
- Guide student behavior
- Maintain a climate conducive to learning
