Adjunct Architectural Studies Instructors
Bargaining Unit/Salary Range:
Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Summary
Central Maine Community College seeks architects, structural engineers, civil engineers and mechanical/electrical engineers to teach Architectural Studies courses. The instructor will deliver curriculum through a learning management system. Courses may include both daytime and evening hours on our Auburn campus or online.
Courses include:
- Architectural Design II
- Sustainability
- Building Systems
- Structures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area.
- Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- State of Maine Professional Engineering (PE) license
- State of Maine Professional Architectural License
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
