Crown House Technologies are currently delivering the full MEP scope for the Ellison Institute of Technology’s Oxford Campus – a world‑class facility combining over 30,000m² of research laboratories, an oncology and wellness clinic, and collaborative spaces focused on solving humanity’s most pressing challenges.
We’re now looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join the delivery team. This role offers a unique chance to apply your technical expertise on a highly innovative and technically demanding life sciences facility.

What you’ll be doing :- Leading the mechanical engineering delivery activities, providing technical oversight from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Managing and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating closely with project managers, planners, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Reviewing complex mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring all mechanical works comply with health and safety legislation and company standards.
- Identifying and implementing innovative engineering solutions, best practices, and continuous improvements.
- Supporting project close‑out processes, including quality assurance and documentation handover.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline, with substantial experience in mechanical engineering delivery on large‑scale projects.
- Proven experience working on highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, or high‑tech manufacturing projects.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
- In‑depth knowledge of mechanical systems, installation methods, and commissioning best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive and solutions‑oriented approach, comfortable working in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment.
