We are currently seeking a Part Time Occupational Therapist to join our team at Interim Health Care
- Maine. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and regain independence. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions. This role requires a strong background in occupational therapy and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Evaluating patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to determine their occupational therapy goals.
- Creating personalized treatment plans to address patients' functional limitations.
- Providing therapeutic interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Valid state occupational therapy license.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Prior experience in occupational therapy preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
