We are seeking a friendly, customer service focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch . This is a Part Time position located in Auburn, ME . In this position you will be responsible for guest registration, making reservations, and providing guests with information about the hotel and the local area. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect role for you.

• Manage online, phone and in‑person room reservations in sometimes fast‑paced environment
• Communicate relevant shift information to next shift and direct supervisor
• Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities
• Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies
• Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest requests
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures
• Assist with other departments when necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management

• High school education or equivalent experience
• 1 or more full years employment experience in a related position
• Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location
• Hours required:
  Part Time 24 hours per week for Morning (AM);
  
  Afternoon (PM);
  
  Evening;
  
  Must be flexible;
  
  Weekends/ Holidays
• Weekend and open availability for schedule, holiday availability to work and prior hospitality experience is preferred
• Proficiency in the English language
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. guest luggage; limited
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times

• Previous customer facing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite
• Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French

$16 Hourly
