Shipping/Receiving Technician

Must live within commuting distance to Auburn, Maine and possess a valid driver’s license.

$20–$22 per hour (DOE). Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.

• Maintain the inventory control system for all departments.
• Assemble and ship test kits for public water systems.
• Receive and distribute incoming supplies to appropriate departments.
• Prepare and ship sampling kits to clients or on‑site crews for analysis; include labeling, lot numbers, palletization, and special instructions.
• Packs in‑house samples for shipment to other laboratories.
• Deliver and/or pick up client samples or bottle orders as requested by project requirements and track bottle orders.
• Answer inquiries from Project Managers and clients concerning bottle handling.

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and limitations.
• Proficiency in inventory control.
• Computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Quick learner of product names and numbers.

• Must be able to lift 50–70 lbs on occasion.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record for company vehicles.
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hazardous Shipping certificate (can be obtained while working).
