2nd & 3rd shift CNC Operators

• Operation and set‑up of machining centers and lathes
• Ability to change and maintain tooling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets
• Ability to read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
• Basic knowledge of 6S safety and ISO organizational standards
• Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, also basic knowledge of percentages and decimals as related to manufacturing
• Able to meet specific deadlines
• Interface with all departments and levels of management

• 1–3 years experience in operation and set‑up of machining centers and lathes
• 1–3 years experience in tooling change‑overs, building up tools and touching off tooling
• Experience in setting up Gear Shapers is highly valued
• 1–3 years experience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers
• Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Desired proficiency:
  Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
