Temporary RN – Summer Assignment (Scarborough, Maine)

Duration: 4–6 weeks Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Our Scarborough school program is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary summer assignment. The RN will support 16 students
, ranging in age from 5 to 20 years old
, with varying medical and developmental needs.

• Medication passes throughout the school day

• G‑Tube feedings for 2–3 students once or twice daily

• MAR updates and ensuring standing orders and guardian permissions remain current

• Care coordination with guardians and primary care providers

• Emergency medication administration while 911 is contacted

• Active RN license in Maine

• Experience with pediatric or young adult populations

• Skilled in G‑Tube care and medication administration

• Strong communication and documentation abilities

• Comfortable collaborating with families and medical providers

• Dept. of Education fingerprinting

• school experience preferred
