This is an office-based RN role within our medical group , not a hospital setting. You’ll work in outpatient setting, focusing on patient education, follow-up, and care coordination, while still staying hands‑on and clinically active.

Your day will include a mix of patient calls, education, and clinical support—triaging symptoms, reviewing results, answering medication questions, and assisting with routine visits.

This role is a great fit for a nurse who enjoys patient interaction, likes to stay busy, and values building relationships over time while balancing clinical care with organization and follow-through.

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

For a limited time, Maine Health is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non-clinical education in the hospital. Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• License/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience:
  
  Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
  Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.
