Assistant Stock Crew Manager
Responsibilities- Assist in hiring, training, and developing associates to meet department needs.
- Maintain department staffing, scheduling, and financial results as assigned.
- Cut, mark, and stock product as required.
- Use good judgment in assigning, delegating, and following up for efficient performance.
- Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect; provide recognition and constructive feedback.
- Model appropriate workplace behavior.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Adhere to all standard practices in the Center Store Standard Practices Manual.
- Maintain solid communication within the department and across the organization.
- Ensure product variety, sales prices, and display philosophy align with gross profit goals.
- Maintain product quality through proper rotation.
- Meet or exceed productivity levels as per company standards.
- Maintain Center Store Department presentation through proper ordering and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with pricing and other department standards.
- Keep work area clean and organized on the receiving and sales floor.
- Observe and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Operate within MPP guidelines to maintain productivity.
- Report equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire prevention, and security programs.
- Handle store information as strictly confidential.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Meet physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lead and direct department associates.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements, including forklift and power jack training.
- Must meet minimum age requirements.
- Ability and availability to work overnight or early morning shifts as applicable.
- Lift up to 20 lbs. regularly (including overhead) and up to 60 lbs. occasionally; push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
- Meet established volume/activity standards.
- Stand or walk 100% of the time.
- Frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting of stock items below waist or above shoulder level.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
- Handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, and food products.
- Tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
- Use computers, calculators, and communication systems as required.
Salary range is between $18.95 and $27.25 per hour.
