Position Description Position Title:Field Property Technician – Construction & Maintenance Location Various VIP locations across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts Primary Purpose
Perform renovations and repairs for existing VIP properties and finish construction/carpentry work for new VIP properties.
Responsibilities- General maintenance and repair duties for all VIP properties.
- Performs basic carpentry, painting, masonry, light electrical, flooring, tire racking set up, and other tasks as needed.
- Works in a safe manner, follows all safety policies while performing job duties, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment PPE.
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- Preparation and assembly of various building components and materials used in the renovation, repair, or new construction of a VIP property.
- Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.
- Communicates with team members to assist in the completion of tasks.
- Travel as needed for projects, including overnights.
- New location set up and repair.
- Ability to safely perform light carpentry and construction tasks.
- Ability to learn new skills as required to complete renovation jobs.
- Ability to stay busy, be highly productive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.
- Knowledge of tools needed to perform jobs, and ability to use them safely and effectively.
- Finish tasks in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively and positively with team members, store staff, supervisors, and management.
- Take direction from Job Supervisor.
- Behave professionally and be reliable.
- Good workmanship and attention to detail.
- Become an excellent team player.
- Experience preferred.
- Extended hours and overnights based on business needs.
- Travel from the Auburn Support Center, or your home base, will be provided or reimbursed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass both a criminal background and a substance abuse screening.
