Level 3 Mechanic

Come work for the largest Ready‑mix company in the state, a proven leader in Ready Mix Concrete. Auburn Concrete currently has a position open as a Mechanic (Level
3) in Auburn and Westbrook. Auburn Concrete has just celebrated 26 years in business as a family owned company. We currently have nine Ready Mix locations in the state with a quarry to provide aggregate material and we continue to grow.

As a Level 3 Mechanic, you will primarily be responsible for diagnosing problems with different types of motor vehicles/equipment and making repairs accordingly. Duties may include:

• Analyzing and tuning engines through the use of engine experience and technology
• Diagnosing all failures of equipment, removing and replacing parts as necessary, and repairing any and all mechanical and electrical issues that arise
• Repairing or replacing damaged or worn parts on all equipment
• Performing all necessary vehicle repairs as assigned

This position requires long hours (up to 65 hours per week) and Saturday availability during the busy season (May to October).

• Current/valid Maine driver’s license (CDL‑A/B preferred but not required)
• Satisfactory driving and criminal record
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Work as a team player
