Position Summary:
The Crusher Utility Laborerisresponsibleforsupportingdailycrushingplantoperationsbymaintainingasafeworkarea ,assistingwithequipmentoperation,performingcleanup,monitoringmaterialflow,andhelpingensureproductiongoalsaremetefficientlyandsafely.
Essential Functions:- Adherestoallsafetyrules,wearsproperPPEandworkssafelyonalljobs
- Assistinthedailyoperationofdesignatedcrusherplantequipment.
- Performpreventativemaintenanceontheplant;
- Performroutinecleanuparoundconveyors,screens,crushers,andworkareas.
- Removeblockagesandspilledmaterialsusingpropersafetyprocedures.
- Removeblockagesandspilledmaterialsusingpropersafetyprocedures.
- Monitormaterialflowandreportequipmentissues.
- Assistmaintenancepersonnelduringrepairsandshutdowns.
- Inspectbelts,guards,rollers,andsurroundingareasforhazards.
- Followlockout/tagoutprocedureswhenrequired.
- Operateskidsteer,loader,orothersupportequipmentifqualified.
- Maintainhousekeepingstandardsinallplantareas.
- Communicatewithoperatorsandsupervisorsregardingplantconditions.
- Reportimmediatelyto Foremananydamagetotheequipmentorsafetyhazardsoraccidents.
- Mustbeabletoconsistentlyliftand/ormanipulatewithpush/pullforce+/-50pounds.
- Flexibilitywithregardtoschedule,workingearlyand/orextendedhours,weekends,andholidayswhenrequired.
- Whileperformingthedutiesofthispositiontheincumbentisregularlyrequiredtostandforupto
10-12hours(restbreaksasrequiredbylawwillbeprovided),usehands,handleorfeel,reachwithhandsandarms,talk,hear,see,walk,climb stairs,ladders,andcatwalks,stoop,bend,twist,kneelandcrouch. - Otherdutiesasassigned.
Incumbentmustbeabletotoleratemoderatetoloudnoiselevel(PPEwillbeprovided,includinghearingprotectionasrequired),longhoursstanding,walking,andlaboringoutdoorsinvaryingweatherconditions-frequentlyinextremeheat.
Physical Demands:Thephysicaldemandsdescribedbelowarerepresentativeofthosethatmustbemetbyanemployeetosuccessfullyperformtheessentialfunctionsofthisjob.

Theemployeeisoccasionallyrequiredtostand,walk,climb stairs,stoop,bend,twist,kneelandcrouch.
Employeemaysitforanhourormoreatatime.
Performsrelatedandunrelateddutiesasmayberequired.

Independent Action:Performsworkindependentlywithinscopeofestablishedguidelinesandpractices.
Qualifications:Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialfunctionsatisfactorily.
Therequirementslistedabovearerepresentativeoftheknowledge,skilland/orabilityrequired.
Anyphysicaldemandsorworkconditionsdescribedherearerepresentativeofthosethatmustbemetbyanemployeetosuccessfullyperformtheessentialfunctionsofthisjob.

Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred.
Experienceinaggregate,mining,construction,orindustrialoperationsandpreferred.
Strongmechanicalability,weldingandcuttingexperience,andcomputerproficiencyareaplus.
Equipmentoperationexperienceisaplus.
Mustbemotivatedandabletohandlemultipleprojectswithlittlesupervisioninanextremelyfastpacedenvironment.
Excellent organizational,analytical,interpersonal,andcommunicationskills.
Willberequiredtotravelandpassaphysicalanddrugscreen.
