Shipping/Receiving Technician, Eurofins Environment Testing, Auburn ME

Full‑time. Compensation: USD 20–22 per hour (DOE). Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Must live within commuting distance to Auburn, Maine and have a valid driver’s license.

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company that provides analytical testing services across multiple industries. The Shipping/Receiving Technician maintains an organized supply/inventory control system for the use and distribution of supplies and equipment for all departments. This role ships and receives parts and materials, performs daily maintenance activities, and routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment.

• Maintain the inventory control system for all departments.
• Assemble and ship test kits for public water systems.
• Receive and distribute incoming supplies to appropriate departments.
• Prepare and ship sampling kits to clients or on‑site crews.
• Pack in‑house samples for shipment to other laboratories.
• Deliver and/or pick up client samples or bottle orders as requested by project requirements.
• Answer inquiries from project managers and clients concerning bottles.

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and limitations.
• Inventory control skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn product names and numbers.

• Must be able to lift 50‑70 lbs on occasion.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and clean driving record (required for driving delivery vehicles).
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hazardous shipping certificate (can be obtained while working).
