Inventory Control Clerk

Work Location: 24 Harriman Drive, Auburn ME 04210

The Inventory Team Counter supports the Inventory Team Manager and is responsible for counting accurately and expeditiously in VIP stores throughout all of the locations. The Inventory Team Counter also supports the record retention process

Inventory and Record Retention Support

• Physically counts SKUs and enters counts into electronic processor.

• Matches physical count to computer generated variance report and manually makes adjustments.
• Assists with identifying records which can be confidentially destroyed.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Basic understanding of inventory processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to commute and be at work location 5 days a week
• Willingness to travel including overnight

Preferred Skills

• Experience with inventory systems
• Basic Excel skills (data entry, formulas, spreadsheets)

Physical Demands

• Extended periods of standing
• Extended periods of sitting when travelling to stores
• Frequent use of a computer and keyboard
• Frequent lifting of heavy materials (up to 40–50 lbs)
