Dental Hygienist

We're seeking to hire a full-time Dental Hygienist proficient and knowledgeable in periodontal and preventive practices. At Our Dental, hygienists have a minimum of 1 hour for routine patient care, Thu-Fri instruments, power scaling (piezo and/or cavitron) along with state of art dental office, and an amazing team environment.

Responsibilities Include:
- Screening patients during checkups
- Reviewing patient’s dental history
- Recommend care to improve a patient’s oral health
- Teach patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
- Identify conditions such as gingivitis or periodontitis
- Perform preventive dental care
- Apply fluoride treatments
- Take x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene; advance training on instrumentation and/or bachelors degree a plus
- Valid license to practice
