Job DescriptionThe Auburn Public Schools district is committed to excellence and seeks enthusiastic, highly-qualified educators to join our team. This position is a full-time, long-term substitute for Grade 7 English & Language Arts, covering a leave of absence starting September 14, 2026 through March 12, 2027. Salary is $55,475 per year, prorated for any partial year.
ResponsibilitiesAs a full-time substitute teacher, you will plan and deliver instruction, manage classroom behavior, maintain a safe learning environment, and assess student progress in accordance with district standards and policies.
Qualifications- Valid DESE certification in English & Language Arts.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful residency, or work visa.
- Experience teaching Grade 7 students preferred.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
