  • Operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic services, ensuring quality images that conform to department standards.
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and seek advice on suspicious abnormalities.

  • Manage supplies by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stocks using LIFO method.
  • Initiate emergency life support measures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of protocols such as "Code Blue" and "Nurse Call."
  • Operate specialized equipment like C-arm for pain procedures, ensuring proper positioning and image quality.
  • Provide age-appropriate patient care, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Role:
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills
  • Completion of a two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program with an Associate Degree or Certificate.
  • Valid Radiology Technology license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; in good standing with ASRT and ARRT.
  • Proficiency with software applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., EPIC) and orthopedic procedures.
