- Manage supplies by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stocks using LIFO method.
- Initiate emergency life support measures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of protocols such as "Code Blue" and "Nurse Call."
- Operate specialized equipment like C-arm for pain procedures, ensuring proper positioning and image quality.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic services, ensuring quality images that conform to department standards.
- Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and seek advice on suspicious abnormalities.
- Maintain radiation safety practices following ALARA standards and state regulations.
- Manage supplies by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stocks using LIFO method.
- Initiate emergency life support measures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of protocols such as "Code Blue" and "Nurse Call."
- Operate specialized equipment like C-arm for pain procedures, ensuring proper positioning and image quality.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Completion of a two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program with an Associate Degree or Certificate.
- Valid Radiology Technology license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; in good standing with ASRT and ARRT.
- Proficiency with software applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., EPIC) and orthopedic procedures.
