Assistant Store Manager - Zales - Auburn Mall

Overview

Assistant Store Manager position at Zales (Signet Jewelers). The role supports the Store Manager in achieving daily standards, sales and profit projections, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The position involves training and evaluating team members, recruiting and selecting staff, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures and perform other operational and strategic duties as needed.

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and use of basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

• Base pay, $16.50 – $24.20 plus commission on sales. Final pay rate is determined based on experience and qualifications.
