Bertera Nissan Auburn is seeking a highly organized and motivated Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the parts department and ensuring the availability of a comprehensive inventory to support our service and repair operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize the daily operations of the parts department.
  • Maintain an efficient inventory system and minimize excess stock while ensuring that parts are available for service and repair.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best pricing and availability.
  • Collaborate with service managers and technicians to forecast demand and place timely orders.
  • Develop strategies to increase parts sales and improve profitability.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by assisting and resolving parts-related inquiries from customers and staff.
  • Supervise and provide training to parts department staff.
  • Monitor parts department performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Prepare and manage the parts department budget.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts inventory management systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications including inventory management software.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive technology or business management is a plus.
