Overview

USA TODAY Co., Inc. is a diversified media company that provides journalism, local content, and digital experiences to a national and local audience. The Auburn Printing Facility is looking for a full‑time entry‑level Pressman 1 to assist with daily production on our presses.

Salary: $30+ per hour to start. Night, weekend, and holiday shifts required.

• Prepare the presses for production.
• Operate the presses and their components.
• Clean the presses and pressroom.
• Maintain the mechanical readiness of the presses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience in web offset printing desirable; any production experience helpful.
• Mechanical ability and familiarity with computers preferred.
• Adaptability, task prioritization, multitasking, flexibility, patience in interacting with people.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, climb stairs on a multi‑level press structure, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl for maintenance/cleaning.
• Normal visual acuity and color vision.
• Union membership required under the CBA.

This full‑time shift work position includes scheduled nights, weekends, and holidays.
