We are offering $30+ per hour to start.

The ability to work nights, weekends and holidays is required.

The Auburn Printing Facility is looking for a full‑time entry‑level Pressman position to assist with daily production on our presses. Responsibilities include preparing the presses for production, operating the presses or any of their components, cleaning the presses and the pressroom, maintaining the mechanical readiness of the presses, and other duties as assigned.

Goals of the Pressroom staff:

• Optimum quality of printed products.
• Observance of all scheduled start and stop times.
• Conservation of material resources, especially newsprint.
• Clean and safe working environment.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience in web offset printing is desirable; production experience of any kind may be helpful.
• Mechanical ability and familiarity with computers is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to change, prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, remain flexible and interact with people while demonstrating patience.
• Must be able to lift or carry up to 40 pounds. Will spend most hours on feet, standing, climbing stairs on multi‑level press structure, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl as required.
• Visual acuity and normal color vision required.
• Full‑time shift work with scheduled nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA); union membership required.
