A well-established alterations shop in the Auburn, MA area is seeking an experienced Alterations Specialist to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working with bridal gowns, formal wear, and special occasion garments.

This position is best suited for someone who can work independently, deliver high-quality alterations, and communicate professionally with customers throughout the fitting process.

• Perform alterations on bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, suits, tuxedos, and other formal wear.
• Complete fittings and communicate with customers regarding alteration needs.
• Execute alterations with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Manage multiple garments while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional work area.

• Several years of professional alterations or tailoring experience required.
• Experience with bridal and formal wear is strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently complete alterations from fitting through final garment.
• Strong sewing and garment construction skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers in English.
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Full-time or part-time opportunities may be available based on experience and availability.
