Domino's Pizza is looking for qualified delivery drivers to staff stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity for growth within the company.

Job Requirements and Duties
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
  • Good navigational skills: read maps, locate addresses, and navigate multi‑story buildings.
  • Ability to drive within a designated delivery area.
General

Job Duties for All Store Team Members
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Communication Skills
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
  • Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately and quickly.
  • Provide correct monetary change.
  • Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Manipulate items with motor coordination.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from about 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes.
  • Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
  • Exposure to hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
  • Exposure to sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
  • Adverse weather conditions during product delivery, driving, and couponing.
Sensing
  • Good vision for most in‑store tasks, including far and night vision for driving.
  • Basic hearing on the telephone.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments.

Physical Requirements Standing

Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile, "bricks" with linoleum. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".

Walking

Short distances for short durations. Delivery personnel travel between the store and delivery vehicle and to the customer's location.

Sitting

Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.

Lifting

Bulk product deliveries, made twice a week or more, are unloaded by hand truck. Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds, stacked up to 72" high.

Carrying

Large cans (≈3 lb), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb per tray, three at a time) are carried. Carrying pizzas and beverages while delivering.

Pushing / Pulling

Move trays on dollies; a stack of trays 24–30" requires up to 7.5 lb of force.

Climbing

Navigate stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, and maintain. Delivery may require five or more flights of stairs.

Stooping/Bending

Forward bending at the pizza assembly station; no knee flexion possible. Duration 30–45 sec repeated continuously.

Crouching/Squatting

Occasional when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.

Reaching

Continuously up, down, and forward. Occasionally over 72" to turn oven controls or change prices.

Driving

Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids

Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephone, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Driving Specific

  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
