Orgill is looking for a Driver in Auburn, MA. The position offers an annual salary of $90,000.
Compensation and Bonuses- Annual salary: $90,000

Primarily responsible for supporting the DC by efficiently delivering hardware related merchandise to Orgill, Inc. customers. The delivery driver also picks up customer returns, backhauls and empty totes and transports them back to the DC or designated Orgill locations.
Specific Responsibilities- Operate a tractor‑trailer with one or more trailers.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip functions.
- Deliver trailers to designated cities or destinations.
- Pick up backhaul merchandise.
- Have all Bills of Lading signed by the store’s representative.
- Collect and return checks on C.O.D. orders.
- Deliver common carrier merchandise.
- Deliver and unload merchandise at customer stores, by hand when necessary.
- Complete required paperwork (DOT logs, manifests, trip reports, fuel reports).
- Maintain excellent customer service skills.
- Manage customer merchandise in a timely and safe manner.
- Take direction from supervisor.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and reliability.
- Adhere to DC housekeeping guidelines.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
- High school diploma.
- Current Class A license and Haz Mat endorsement. Doubles required.
- Adhere to all DOT requirements and be willing to perform shuttle driver functions.
- Minimum of two years tractor driving experience, preferably pulling double trailers.
- Willing and able to work as needed; overnight stays required.
- Excellent driving history.
- Commitment to high safety standards and compliance with all safety policies and practices.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Good comprehension skills.
- Effectively interact with other departments and all levels of management.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Self‑motivated team player with a can‑do attitude.
- English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.
- Must meet the physical assessment requirements for this position.
