Director, Central Southern Tier RAEN
LOCATION:
Auburn, NY Campus
SUMMARY
The Central Southern Tier RAEN Program Coordinator will help deliver training and technical support to adult literacy and workforce investment programs throughout the Central Southern Tier Region. This includes scheduling and managing all logistics for professional development training sessions, including in-person and virtual trainings; management of daily office responsibilities and communications with the 17 local programs within the service area; collaborating with College staff to coordinate Central Southern Tier RAEN resources with external partners and vendors;
and supporting the Director, Central Southern Tier RAEN in meeting contract deliverables and objectives.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
1. Facilitate the scheduling and management of all logistics for RAEN sponsored professional development and training events. This includes:
* Managing office calendars.
* Contacting trainers.
* Booking event space and catering.
* Organizing event materials, supplies, and audio and visual equipment.
* Collecting registrations.
* Collecting and summarizing evaluations and attendance.
2. Travel to meeting and training sites, conferences, summits, and other RAEN sponsored events, including the transport of supplies, materials, and equipment as needed.
3. Set up audio visual equipment; distribute training materials; assist trainers and participants; and oversee registration at all scheduled events.
4. Maintain the Central Southern Tier RAEN website and support the technological needs of the RAEN.
5. Ensure Central Southern Tier RAEN event listings are kept up-to-date on the RAEN website.
5. Assist programs with technical issues related to the Central Southern Tier RAEN website and online registration.
7. Maintain the adult student data management information system, internal databases, and event files.
8. Assist in researching, purchasing, and inventory of office and training supplies, materials, and equipment.
9. Help oversee budgeting, contract documents, and MWBE vendors.
10. Update program contact information for the NYSED Office of Adult Education Programs and Policy.
11. Create surveys and organize results effectively for proper analysis based on the information collected.
12. Run program data reports, and Banner budget inquiries.
13. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree and experience coordinating trainings or events
* Valid NYS driver's license and dependable transportation.
* The ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment up to 50lbs.
* Proficiency in Outlook;
Microsoft Word and Excel;
Adobe Acrobat; and database management. Some knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Access, Word Press, Survey Monkey, Teams/Zoom/Web Ex, and ASISTS is preferred.
Additional Information:
One year of experience in the field of adult literacy or adult education or closely related work experience is preferred.
