** Auburn, NY
** that is seeking an entry or junior-level
** Machine Operator** . This is a
** temp-to-hire
** opportunity with starting pay of **$18/hour+** , depending on experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical ability and 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, machine shop or related environment who is looking to learn, develop their skills, and grow with the company long-term.
** Key Responsibilities*
* + Load and unload materials onto CNC machines and other equipment
+ Assist machine operators with basic tasks and production needs
+ Move materials, parts, and finished products throughout the shop
+ Perform simple quality checks and ensure parts meet basic specifications
+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
+ Follow all safety procedures and standard operating processes (SOPs)
+ Support general shop tasks as needed in a team-oriented environment
** Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or GED required
+ 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, machine shop, or a mechanical environment preferred
+ Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
+ Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Interest in learning machining or growing into a more advanced role over time
** Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
