ER Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (07:00 - 19:30) with every other weekend required.
We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in an emergency room setting.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias).
- Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues.
- Administer blood products and manage central lines.
- Start and maintain IVs, administer IV sedation and vasopressors.
- Care for stroke (CVA) patients and ventilated patients.
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
- Follow isolation precautions and perform triage as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience with at least 2 years of recent ER experience required.
- Active state nursing license required (NY or compact).
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- No disciplinary issues (hits) on nursing license.
