LPN/LVN Position

Acute care experience required. Please note if traveler lives within 50 miles they will be considered local and   is less than travel rate. Start Date (or range): ASAP. Assignment Length: 13 weeks. Floating required: per facility needs. Shift: 3x12s, open to 4x12 with no OT until after 52 hours. Guaranteed hours: 36 unless signing 4x12s. Weekend requirement: every other weekend; every other holiday.

Minimum years of experience:
1. Recent experience required: yes – within the past year. Required skills/competencies: medication administration, MS/Tele, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, isolation precaution. License required: NY state license. Certifications required: BLS, 8 hours of stroke education. All RTO must be on submittal. Any RTO after offer will not be approved.

It will be the traveler’s responsibility to have any additional shifts covered. Call-off policy: 3 shifts per 13 week assignment. Automatic disqualifications: no hits on nursing license. Approved if your traveler does not have a NY license, they can still be submitted if they applied for the license. When submitted, your team will need to provide the date the application was submitted.
