Position: LVN/LPN – Medical Surgical

$1434.28/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to provide skilled care in a Critical Care Step Down (CCSD) unit. This role involves caring for patients with complex needs, utilizing telemetry monitoring and high-flow oxygen support. Ideal candidates are adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor patient care, including cardiac telemetry, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP support, and post-procedural assessments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient status, treatments, and interventions in the EMR system.
  • Float within scope to similar acuity units as needed, maintaining care continuity.
  • Comply with facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an active LPN license and have 1-2 years recent experience in Critical Care or PCU settings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and complex respiratory support.
  • Possess BLS certification (AHA) and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of adapting to unit needs with flexibility in schedule and float responsibilities.
  • Have dependable work history with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
