Step-Down RN - Night Shift
Location:
Local candidates accepted.
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:30)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience to join our team. The candidate must start on 10/12 and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of cardiac and respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage patients post-heart catheterization and vascular procedures.
- Administer medications, including emergency medications and procedural sedation.
- Conduct frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks.
- Implement infection prevention practices and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Step-Down RN experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV management.
