LVN​/LPN Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to provide acute care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, utilizing MS/Tele equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams to address emergent patient situations.
• Perform peripheral line care, management, and nasal cannula oxygen administration.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management protocols.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid NY State nursing license or have applied for licensure with submission documentation.
• Hold current BLS certification and 8 hours of stroke education.
• Demonstrate recent acute care experience within the past year.
• Be capable of interpreting dysrhythmias and managing arrhythmia cases.
• Show proficiency in using EMR systems, preferably Paragon, with training provided.
• Have at least 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital environment.
