** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to guests and store associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, back-of-house areas, and parking lots to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, crowd control, and coordinating with management and/or public responders as needed.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas for suspicious behavior, support receipt check processes when assigned, and report potential loss prevention concerns to site leadership per post orders.

+ Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts using required reporting tools.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
