Multi-Fuel Technician

Suburban Propane is seeking a Multi-Fuel Technician to install, maintain, and repair propane, renewable propane, and multi-fuel systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. In this field-based role, you'll perform safe tank and line installations, troubleshoot and repair equipment, conduct leak checks and compliance inspections, and educate customers on proper system use. You'll work with in a safety-first, customer-focused culture offering year-round stability, hands-on training, and opportunities to grow your technical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair propane and multi-fuel systems, tanks, and related equipment
• Perform safety inspections, leak checks, and regulatory compliance tests on fuel systems
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Operate service vehicles, tools, and testing instruments safely and efficiently
• Document work orders, service reports, and parts usage accurately
• Educate customers on safe fuel system operation and basic maintenance
• Assist with emergency service calls and after-hours support as needed
• Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and operations teams to prioritize and complete work
• Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
