- A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join its team in Auburn, Washington. This position offers a unique blend of tax, assurance, and client advisory services, providing the opportunity to work directly with business owners across a diverse portfolio of closely held businesses and individuals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who enjoys both tax and financial statement engagements and is looking for a collaborative environment with long-term growth potential.

• Prepare and manage Review and Compilation engagements for business clients.
• Prepare GAAP-based financial statements and related disclosures.
• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns.
• Work directly with business owners to provide accounting, tax, and advisory support.
• Assist clients with Quick Books support, troubleshooting, and accounting best practices.
• Research tax and accounting issues and provide practical solutions to clients.
• Reconcile accounting records and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Support small and mid-sized businesses with a variety of accounting and compliance needs.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of public accounting experience.
• Recent experience preparing Reviews and Compilations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Experience preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.

Preferred

• CPA license or CPA candidate.
• Experience working with closely held businesses.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters products, including Ultra Tax.
• Exposure to construction or job costing environments is a plus.
