WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the Mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
- Maintain the Revenue Audit department’s general accounting for revenue and auditing reporting, internal controls, statistical reporting, daily distribution of non-gaming and casino performance, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze audit paperwork and reports; develops and implements recommendations for improved efficiency.
- Review daily audits, exception reports, and audit documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure all transactional activity is recorded timely and accurately.
- Ensure fraud risk findings are communicated to and investigated by appropriate property personnel.
- Communicate problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner.
- Promote, develop, and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal and external guests, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met.
- Assist, monitor, and review daily audit of the following areas including but not limited to:
Cage, VGD, Jackpots/W-2
Gs, Table Games, Poker, F&B, Gift Shop, and Manual Comps/Adjustments - Improve staff effectiveness by coaching, counseling, training, and recommending corrective action for team members; and planning, delegating, monitoring, and appraising job tasks and results in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the technology needs of the office; ensures staff is fully trained on systems, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate with and represents MIC to external agencies, consultants and other organizations and individuals.
- Assist staff to ensure all job duties are completed in a timely manner and in the case of absences.
- Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive, professional demeanor.
- Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Associates degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Two (2) years of casino revenue audit experience in a supervisory/lead role may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
- Two (2) years of related accounting experience (account reconciliations, journal entries and bank reconciliations on a computerized general ledger system) required.
- One (1) year of gaming industry experience preferred.
- Expert acumen, skill and knowledge of all audits required. Continued expert proficiency of all audits for more than 24 consecutive months required.
