SUMMARY

The Contract Clerk is responsible for processing all deal paperwork to accurately record the sale, profit, and commissions payable on all sold and trade‑in units and maintaining accurate accounting on related schedules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Organize and scan in car deals
  • Receive and process all paperwork from the F&I department
  • Review deal paperwork for completeness and compliance
  • Receipt in money
  • Maintain accurate logs of funds, documents, and communications
  • Follow up with issues concerning paperwork and/or funds
  • Scan additional documents into deals as necessary
  • Accurately file items
  • Email, Fed Ex and mail contracts
  • Perform all tasks by deadlines and in a timely manner
  • Be willing to help co‑workers with other tasks
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area
  • Handle confidential information appropriately

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accounting skills and knowledge preferred
