Automotive Service Technician Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medium Duty Truck Technician to join our team at the Way Scarff Commercial Truck Center. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, benefits, and a signing bonus for qualified candidates. You'll work on a variety of vehicles-from light-duty trucks to medium-duty commercial vehicles-and play a key role in delivering the quality service our customers have come to expect.

Automotive Service Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various makes and models of light and medium-duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with service staff and customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders and repairs.

Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive or truck shop environment.
• Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Proven ability to work on commercial trucks and related systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Dealership experience is a plus.
