Automotive Technician
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic equipment and repair manuals.
- Repair or replace worn parts, including brakes, steering components, suspension systems, and engines.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer standards and local regulations.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions, recommended repairs, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay current with new automotive technology, repair techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program preferred.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent credential highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools, power tools, and repair equipment safely.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Average C Mechanic: $60k+
- Average B Mechanic: $80k+
- Average A Mechanic: $150k
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various conditions (heat, cold, noise, and fumes).
