The BCA Fabrication Business Operations team is seeking several highly motivated Business Operations Specialists (Level 3 or
4) – Problem solver extraordinaire to join our business Operations Team in Auburn, WA. Several positions will support our core Fabrication Work Movement leadership team and activities.
Location:
Auburn, WA
- Assist in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, including sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation.
- Support coordination and clarify analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long‑range business goals and develop business case.
- Coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.
- Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning and refine the business case.
- Meet with leadership to gain approval.
- Provide implementation direction for work authorization.
- Collect, organize and provide data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
- Ensure follow‑up action for issue resolution.
- Data Analysis and Insights:
Provide timely data analysis and business insights to support the organization’s decision‑making processes; develop reports, dashboards, and presentations as required. - Business Performance:
Establish metrics, track performance relative to plan, and provide regular updates on status, trends, risks, and opportunities to leaders; conduct variance analysis and collaborate to mitigate risk and establish recovery plans. - Integration and
Collaboration:
Ensure integration across programs, functions, and the enterprise on management system and integration requirements; facilitate data sharing, collaboration, and communication among teams. - Content and Data Standards:
Establish content, data, onboarding, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization. - Decision Support:
Provide necessary data, analysis, strategic thinking, and tools to support decision‑making; facilitate scenario analysis and evaluation of options. - System Review and Updates:
Periodically review management system to ensure it meets business needs; anticipate evolving needs, identify improvement areas, gather user feedback, and implement updates. - Coaching:
Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Minimum education:
High School or GED. - 5+ years experience in Business Operations, project management, program management, or similar.
- 5+ years experience collecting, interpreting data, and leading high‑level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership.
- 5+ years experience in cross‑functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships, and proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Level 4: 7+ years experience in Business Operations, project management, program management, or similar.
- 7+ years experience performing in supply chain, scheduling, supplier performance management, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management, or business operations roles.
- Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals.
- Ability to travel up to 10 % of work time.
