The Project Manager Assistant/Client Login Specialist supports the lab in servicing clients to meet the laboratory mission. Position is Full time, Mon‑Fri 7:30am‑4:00pm with occasional Saturday mornings. Overtime as needed. Must live a commutable distance to Auburn, Maine and have a background in Environment or the Sciences. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a customer service position. Compensation is $20‑22/hour (DOE).

• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate party.
• Greeting clients and accepting samples.
• Maintain inventory for office supplies, replenish, stock and keep clean and organized.
• Maintain office machines such as fax, copier, scanner, and call for service when needed.
• Ensure paper and toners are available for general use.
• Responsible for postage meter/scale and postmarking outgoing mail.

• Project Set Up
• Schedule courier or field sampler, if needed.
• Confirm that non‑Eurofins Environment Testing America subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for existing work.
• Generate accounting software requisition when sending subcontract samples.
• Sample Receipt
• Review log‑in.
• Generate subcontract paperwork.
• Send client sample receipt confirmation.
• Review draft invoice.
• Confirm that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded in LIMS for invoicing.
• Reporting
• Create and issue final report by client due date.
• Issue final data package.
• State reporting forms and submission.
• Data upload.
• Compile case narrative.

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Collect samples from on‑site drop box.
• Unpack shipments and document receipt of sample.
• Organize and record samples.
• Data entry into LIMS.
• Maintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeeping.
• Phone and email correspondence with clients.
• Review analytical reports quickly and accurately.
• Scan and send out reports in a timely manner.
• Assist with customer services.
• Handle interactions with walk‑in clients.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree (2 years client‑relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree).
• High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience.
• Environmental laboratory experience.
• 1‑3 years business experience required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• May need to lift up to 50lbs coolers of samples on occasion.
